I am eagerly waiting for mid-Dec. Its not just that i would be free from all the workload that has been weighing me down for a long time now, I would have completed my applications, and the remainder of the end-term exams by then. But, what I am most enthusiastic about is the time I will have to myself for the next couple of months. I can finally finish those coursera courses now, and enroll for some more interesting upcoming courses( Intro to AI in 2 months). I am also looking forward to my first experience presenting my work at a conference from 19-21 Dec. I am very excited about the opportunity, where I will get a chance to interact with people from the same domain. It would be a place like no other. I am really excited about these new opportunities. I will also be starting my final year BTP Thesis on Multi-modal Biometrics from mid-Dec, and I am aiming a target for ICMI 2014. I am really very excited and hope that this period is very productive for me.

Google Hangout at US Embassy
Yesterday, i was invited to be part of a google hangout session at the US Embassy to help with the general and the specific queries for admission to US. It was a very good experience where my two major doubts were cleared by the panel. You can watch the video here,
