I had been occupied a little for a past few weeks making amends for the final camera ready paper to be presented at SEMCCO 2013, which will be published in LNCS, Springer. Now, the most important task at hand is to shortlist universities for the upcoming Fall 2014 session. I have been working on an extensive list on CV related programs at various universities, and have narrowed down my area of concentration to about 30 universities. Next i have to take into consideration other factors like area, fee structure etc to come up with my list of 10-12 schools where i would be applying. I am almost done with my generic SOP, into the 10th iteration and need to mould it into university specific SOPs. So the cardinal thing I have to do now is to finalize the list of those 10-12 schools and speed up the process for applications.
Update: How much excruciating the process might seem, it is totally worth it. Reading about the research going on at different places and wanting to do some great work in those particular labs is the dream. I have got a few great ideas of working after perusing works by various Professors and various Vision groups. I call this the process to find out your topic for PhD Thesis.
